Dholera Smart City - A Vision of Hon PM Narendra Modi is started getting 1 st greenfield industrial smart city in Gujarat. Dholera SIR is developing total 920 SqKm area. There are some fantastic news coming in last month with more focus and investment which is boosting and bringing focus on Dholera again. Dholera SIR Latest Development & Upcoming Projects In Dholera Smart City

What is the deadline of Dholera SIR Project? Dholera SIR is evolving right now and the government has not declared any particular date to complete the smart city but as per the official announcement, phase 1 will be completed soon and after that other phases will pickup. Let's know more about the Dholera Smart City progress and investment.

The development of Dholera SIR is divided in the form of phases:-

Development phase 1:  Town Planning 1 (Area 51.4 sq km) and Town Planning 2( Area 102.34 sq km)

Development phase 2:  Town Planning  3(Area 102.34 sq km) and Town Planning  4(Area 66.6 sq km)

Development phase 3:  Town Planning 5 (Area 74.75 sq km) and Town Planning  6(Area 67.33 sq km)

Dholera Latest Development Progress 2021:-



1). Dholera International Airport:-

The Dholera International Airport is a part of Dholera Special Investment Region of Gujarat,India. The greenfield airport will be built on 1700 acres of land and 1426 hectares of Government land has been reserved for Airport at Navagam Village of Dholera Taluka in Ahmedabad District.,29 km from Dholera and 80 km from Ahmedabad. Dholera greenfield airport located at a distance of 100 kilometres South West of Ahmedabad.

2). ABCD Building - Administrative Cum Business Centre for Dholera:-

ABCD Building is Administration Cum Business Center for Dholera , Its the Central admin office of Dholera Greenfield Smart city. It is been constructed in TP2 West part (Phase 1) and is located in commercial zone (KNOWLEDGE AND IT ZONE ).

ABCD is directly connected to the 55m arterial road which connects to the expressway. The site will accommodate the offices of the development agencies along with a command & control centre & a skill development centre in a total built-up area of 36,000sqm. The building for the Regional Development Authority (RDA) is envisaged to be a LEED GOLD rated building with facilities to accommodate the entire employees required by the RDA for the city of Dholera.

3). Dholera Solar Park:-

Dholera Greenfield Smart City will emerge as the prominent center for renewable energy projects for India. Renewable Energy projects like Lithium-Ion Battery Plant & Solar Power Plants will generate employment opportunities in Gujarat. Investing in renewable energy projects in multiple sectors surely creates a better future for global businesses.

4). Water Treatment Plant:-

The Dholera Industrial City Development(DICDL) has undertaken the implementation of 50 MLD Water Treatment Plant at Dholera in Ahmedabad District. Dholera water treatment plant will surely contribute its maximum to the greenfield city creating new Gujarat within Gujarat. 5).Ahmedabad-DSIR Monorail:-

Giving an impetus to the city, the Ahmedabad-DSIR Monorail receives a positive nod. The project received an affirmation in terms of technical and financial assistance under the DMIC (Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor) project. The monorail is said to have seven stations parallel to the Ahmedabad-Dholera expressway. The duration from DSIR to Ahmedabad is expected to be 45 minutes.
